If you're as excited as we are for the HUMMER EV as we are, then you'll be glad to hear we'll be learning more about the HUMMER EV SUV in just over 48 hours from now: April 5 at 5 PM. Teased as a second super truck, we expect it will have similarly incredible performance to its pickup version, but with a full SUV body.
The HUMMER EV is an amazing electric vehicle. It's estimated to generate 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet of torque, and since it's electric, that's instant torque you're getting. All that power translates into a 0-60 mph time of about three seconds. You might expect its battery to not be able to last very long with such powerful motors, but GM estimates it to have a 350-mile range.
If you've already reserved a HUMMER EV Edition 1, you can expect to get it this fall.
